Joanna Angel Spotlights Cavs Guard J.R. Smith on Vivid Radio

LOS ANGELES—J.R. Smith, the Cleveland Cavaliers' most consistently productive three-point shooter all season, is the athlete in the Vivid Radio Sports Spotlight segment for June. Vivid Radio host and award-winning adult performer Joanna Angel will discuss Smith with Gerrie Burke, host of the Sports Byline Radio Network show Sports Overnight America on Wednesday at 11 p.m. PT.

"J.R. Smith is a star in more ways than one," said Burke. "He's been enjoying the best performance of his career with the Cavs and seems determined to get threes from all angles and against all players."

Becoming a father in January to a premature daughter that Smith and his wife Jewell Harris named Dakota has helped the 31-year-old athlete get a more mature perspective on life.

"My parents, my family, that's the biggest inspiration in my life," Smith said recently. "The cars are nice, the houses are nice, but none of this matters without them. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here. I don't know where I would be, honestly, if it wasn't for them. If it wasn't for the structure and the backbone that I have, I wouldn't be able to mess up and keep coming back and be able to sit in front of you as a world champion."
