LOS ANGELES—Joanna Angel and Small Hands are set to host a Doom's Whiskey tasting 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Remedy Liquor 1700 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA.
“Doom’s Whiskey only launched a few years ago, and since then it has developed a significant cult following,” said Joanna Angel, co-creator of Doom’s Whiskey. “Remedy liquor prides itself on carrying the finest selection of craft/small batch liquors and spirits, and we are honored that Dooms is now one of them. It's the first liquor store in Los Angeles to pick up the product—a real milestone for a labor of love created by two people in love.”
Fans and friends over the age of 21 are welcome; the event is free with lots of giveaways, photo-ops, and of course free whiskey. Adult stars including Dani Daniels, Cherie DeVille, Katrina Jade, and Karla Kush will be on hand as well as many others.
Doom’s Whiskey is the brainchild of wife-and-husband team Joanna Angel and Small Hands. Doom’s was created and blended by mixologist Small Hands and is the only 100 proof rye whiskey on the market. The rye blend is artisanal distilled and bottled in Moore, Okla.; made in small batches and aged to perfection in American white oak barrels. It achieves a perfect balance of alcohol and robust flavor due to being one of the only non-chilled filtered ryes on the market. Doom's whiskey balances toffee and spice notes with a hint of orange and leather.
“Before I got in the adult biz, I was a mixologist,” Small Hands said. “I was constantly looking for a rye with more proof to it and a bolder flavor for craft cocktails with a kick. Joanna knew my passion for craft whiskey, and we worked together to create Doom’s, a kick-ass rye whiskey with bold flavor and just a dash of evil. This is not your Dad’s rye.”
