Jessica Drake Participating in 2 AVN Show Panels

LAS VEGAS— Jessica Drake—a sex educator, Wicked Pictures producer/director and adult film superstar—is scheduled to participate in two panels during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo on January 23: Consent and Sexualized Leisure at the AVN Expo and FSC Presents: Performers—What I Wish I Had Known.

Held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from January 21-25, the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo is the premier industry trade show, featuring top talent and luminaries along with the top studios and adult brands in a gathering that includes product rollouts, speakers, seminars as well as live entertainment and the AVN Awards, the industry’s leading awards show. The Consent and Sexualized Leisure at the AVN Expo panel will begin at 1 p.m. in Festival Hall C, featuring Drake and fellow panelists Paul Maginn (University of Western Australia), Barb Brents (University of Nevada Las Vegas), Katy Jayne and Rob Piper, with Lynn Comella (University of Nevada Las Vegas) moderating. The panel will focus on how consent is framed, managed and experienced in interactions between fans and performers and on the ideas of “sexualized leisure” and “porn tourism” and why the AVN Expo is a major tourist destination.

Jessica Drake will also join the panel FSC Presents: Performers—What I Wish I Had Known at 2 p.m. in Festival Hall C, featuring performers Ana Foxxx, Casey Kisses, Wolf Hudson, Karla Lane and Casey Calvert, who will serve as moderator. The panel will feature top talent from converging segments of the adult industry discussing what they wish they would’ve known prior to entering the adult industry.

Education is an often overlooked necessity in adult entertainment and I am honored to be able to contribute to any discourse which sheds light on the industry,” Drake said. “Consent in particular is an issue that is impacting not only performers, but every aspect of our society, from the board room and break room, to college campuses, schools and workplaces everywhere. There is much work to be done, and I’m glad we’re continuing the conversation, while integrating the issues facing new performers in the industry.”

A winner of more than 30 industry awards and other honors, Drake comes to the event with AVN Awards nominations for Best Leading Actress and Best Solo/Tease Performance, both for Lost Love, as well as a nomination for Social Media Star at the AVN Fan Awards.
