LOS ANGELES—The red carpet at the AVN Awards is THE fashion night for the adult industry and it just got a dose of full-frontal commentary from Violet Chachki and Katya, veterans of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7 who are now hosting RuPaul’s Drag Race Fashion Photo RuView on YouTube.
And if you don’t want the brutal truth, honey, do not ask a drag queen!
While much of their commentary might be a bit brutal, the duo absolutely adored Jenevieve’s red carpet attire. The witchy adult superstar dominated the red carpet in sheer pants, black panties, black corset, black platform heels and every bit of attitude she could muster. Violet and Katya went absolutely nuts for Jenevieve in a way no one else came close to receiving. Here are some highlights:
Violet: “I love it. What I love most is the pose. It’s all really good.”
Katya: “It’s all fabulous. If you’re going to spend all that time and money getting tattoos on your legs you’re going to show them—”
Violet: “One is like a pentagram … and even the name Hexxx, it’s like on-brand for her, I don’t even have to watch her movies or know who she is to know that she’s like some twisted, demonic, sexy bad girl, and I always live for that girl.”
Katya: “What do you think about these sheer bedroom pants?”
Violet: “I love the pants! Because there’s like a trim at the bottom, she’s got a good platform stripper shoe on, the panties—it gives me like, you know when Christina Aguilera was in the early 2000s, when it was like, ‘I’m going to be a bad girl,’ it gives me very that, which I love, I think that’s making a comeback. And honestly, the corset, the fetish element, I live for, and I think it’s just kind of refreshing to have someone who’s like on-brand, unashamed, living their truth, living their journey, sheer bell-bottom pants on the red carpet, I think it’s really fun.”
Katya: “I give it a Toot.”
Violet: “Toot.”
(As opposed to giving it a Boot.)
And to top it all off, she was named the Top Toot of the Week.
“On brand, fetish, gothy, bustier, palazzo, lurex pant, tattooed, sultry, sexy, diva. She’s a diva!” the ladies said in closing, alternating descriptive compliments.
