LOS ANGELES—AltPorn.net, the website specializing in covering non-traditional sexcapades and content, has announced that Jeffrey Damnit and Malice McMunn will once again be hosting the AltPorn.net 2020 AltPorn Awards event, presented by MyFreeCams—and this time, their (and everyone's) appearance will be virtual.
Jeffrey Damnit has been the host for various cool events, including the Escape Psycho Circus, Endless Night Vampire Ball, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Babes in Toyland charity, plus he was the first MC of Bar Sinister, and, of course, the past three years' AltPorn Awards shows. From Comedy Central and ABC-TV to AltPorn's stage, Damnit has the experience, charm, and humor, plus according to an AltPorn rep, he's "easy on the eyes and we are really, really happy to have him be MC and co-host of the big event."
In addition to gracing the cover of AltStar magazine, Malice McMunn has appeared in more music videos than any other adult performer, as well as in multiple magazines and coffee table books. "From her Malicious Creatures clothing line to her work with Kat Von D, we feel lucky to have her be the co-host and Trophy Goddess for this year’s virtual event," the company rep said.
Legendary director and last year’s AltPorn Awards Female Performer of the Year Joanna Angel will be kicking off the festivities on Wednesday, Dec. 30, for AltPorn.net’s 2020 AltPorn Awards Virtual Edition. The virtual red carpet will be hosted by popular star April Flores, famous for her body positivity activism and varied artistic body of work.
The virtual red carpet will start at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET and those who register for Nominee, MFC (the VIP designation for all MFC models courtesy of the show's presenting sponsor MyFreeCams), or VIP tickets will receive information on the day of the event for how to virtually “walk” the AltPorn Awards red carpet, and will also receive commemorative tote bags shipped to them, featuring gifts from the show's sponsors. General Admission tickets are free for fans and industry, but registration is required to view the event live and participate in the interactive chat. Tickets are available at AltStarAwards.com and are free for general admission, nominees, and MFC models, and VIP ticket upgrades are available for purchase. A VIP upgrade includes the commemorative tote full of swag from the sponsors who make the event possible.

Every year, winners are selected based on a combination of deliberation by the AltPorn.net judges panel consisting of its editorial and writing staff, and votes from fans, models, and producers.
AltPorn.net has been doing press coverage celebrating alt creativity and the best in alternative erotica, alt.porn, counterculture, subculture, punk, goth, emo, tattooed, and just creatively offbeat sexy cool smut for 15+ years, and in 2010, started giving the AltPorn Awards to honor excellence in alt work produced during that year. Winners will be announced at the live virtual AltPorn Awards event in Hollywood, California.
In addition to the annual star-studded event in Los Angeles (when it has not been forced to adapt due to the COVID pandemic), AltPorn.Net produces AltStar Magazine. VIP attendees of the event will receive an issue of AltStar in their goodie bags, along with other cool swag.
