LAS VEGAS—Industry veteran Jamie French was bestowed the Transcendence Award at the 2022 Transgender Erotica Awards. Conceived and sponsored by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, the prestigious award honors the accomplishments of a trans performer who goes above and beyond (in business and community) in the trans adult industry.
“I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this. Personally, the past year and a half have been a period of extreme loss and heartache,” explained French in her on-stage acceptance speech during the 2022 TEAs. “The only real solace I’ve ever had is burying myself into work. It’s the only thing that I’ve had from day to day. In my hardest times, I keep my head down and work. And that my work is being recognized in this fashion, it’s like, I didn’t work for an award. The way that I am being recognized right now—makes this award the most precious and most meaningful accolade I’ve ever had in my entire career."
Recent recipients of the TEA Transcendence Award include Foxxy, Aubrey Kate and Chanel Santini.
French is a veteran performer and producer of the adult industry currently based in Las Vegas. She signed with TransErotica as a contract model in 2018 and celebrated her career milestone of 15 years in the adult industry in 2021. During her longstanding career, she has worked with a long list of production companies, including Grooby, Evil Angel, TransErotica, VR Bangers, Gender X, Kink, Legal Porno and Adult Time, and has also produced and directed Trans6uals 1 and 2 for Grooby Productions. She has also previously won the 2015 TEA Best Solo Site Award and the 2016 TEA Best Scene Producer Award.
