LOS ANGELES—Two-time Hall of Famer Ivan crosses over with wrestling photography success.
Before joining the ranks of adult movie directing in 2002, Ivan had a critically acclaimed award-winning horror filmmaking career with such praise from horror movie icon John Landis and Fangoria Magazine.
Upon joining the directing of blue movies, he was acclaimed "Horror Porn Maestro" while embarking on a career that has now spanned almost two dozen years and multiple trophies across a gamut of porn industry award shows.
Now Ivan's work is featured on wrestler shirts and a brand new trading card set from Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW). He is currently also putting together a coffee table book with some of his most dramatic images from his first two years entitled Bloody (Coffee) Table Book.
In 2022, Ivan who goes by his real name "Slava," joined the world of professional wrestling photography with Rob Black’s returning XPW. His duties would be shooting all backstage and ringside images for the most talked about promotion and owner in the world of wrestling. Within this time he has secured his reputation as many insiders would say as the "top photographer in independent and Deathmatch wrestling." Over a dozen wrestlers have chosen his images to be used on their official merchandise and now XPW has released a trading card set dawning his images.
Ivan said, "I am beyond honored to have so many people in wrestling approach me about my photography. And to see my images used to promote their brands is priceless. I take so much pride and care in everything I do, I’m thrilled this opportunity was given to me by Rob and and XPW. And that’s why with every show it’s step up further and further is where my mentality is."
Ivan/Slava who shares his resources with his peers in adult has included some of his pornstar friends in live shows and storylines, with recent viral videos being the talk of Deathmatch wrestling with Alt Erotic’s Evilyn Ink.
