Will Ryder Earns Nods From Italy's Doppio Senso Awards

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Adult movie director Will Ryder has received new accolades from Italy with multiple nominations for this year’s upcoming 2024 Doppio Senso Awards in Milano, Italia.

Ryder quipped, "I figured with making their hall-of-fame I might be obligated to eat large quantities of lasagna, spaghetti, and fettuccine al pomodoro as a way of thanking them, but even with multiple visits to the Olive Garden, I’ve managed to keep the pounds off while actually feeling truly Italian and am grateful to their entire team in Italy not only for these wonderful honors but also for just knowing my name."

The Italian awards show is a venture by the long-running production team that produces Doppio Senso Night, a live weekly television show on the Italian TV channel Prima Free. In the thirteen years of production, the show has hosted hundreds of celebrities, porn stars and directors in a lively conversational format.

This year, Ryder has been nominated for Best International Movie for Love, Sex & Robots starring Kira Noir which is an Adam & Eve Pictures release, and for Best International Director.

Ryder added, "I’m in some very stellar company in the directing category with fellow Americans Seth, Casey, Ricky, and Kayden so it’s gonna be tough but just to get that all-expense paid roundtrip flight to Milan and five-star hotel accommodations overlooking the famous Milan Cathedral is just wonderful. I’ve been brushing up on my Italian with daily Skype sessions with the Italian maestro himself, Axel Braun."

Last year, September Reign took home the top acting prize for Best International Actress for her role in Ryder’s Love, Sex & Music.

The 2024 Doppio Senso Awards will take place on Saturday, March 30, in Milan, Italy.

Currently, Will Ryder is a partner in the social media venture All Media Social.
