LOS ANGELES—Anna Bell Peaks is featured in the new issue of Inked Magazine in a five-page spread.
“Red Light Special” features three photos—shot by Pookie with makeup by Amanda Thesen—and an interview that kicks off with this description: “Pornstar Anna Bell Peaks is crazy, sexy, cool.” Two photos are stretched into two-page spreads and a third is used as a full-page photo. They also used a full-page pic of her on the contents page.
They discuss her tats, of course, and then make the transition from her life as an accountant to becoming an adult star. Her training comes in handy, since without it she probably wouldn’t have known that she could write-off sex toys, panties and PR. The experience also gave her insight into finance that few porn stars have when they enter the business.
“Running a business is running a business,” Anna told Inked. “I was an employee at a firm before, and now I’m my own boss, but the business skills I have as a CPA are used daily as I market myself and my brand, determine the best product line for my customer base, and make goals for how I want my career to progress. I use my business skills daily and can’t imagine I’d be anywhere near where I am now without the business knowledge I have. I know my numbers. Yep, I’m a nerd. I can even prepare my own taxes!”
Peaks is in the middle of a US tour and this week she will be in Greenville, S.C., home of the Furman Paladins and Lady Paladins. It is there she will be featuring at one of the South’s finest clubs, The Trophy Club, on Friday and Saturday nights. Anna will do two shows each night.
“I’ve been really happy with my feature performances on this tour,” Anna said. “I think they have been my best shows ever and since I’m performing every couple weeks it’s allowing me to develop a rhythm. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people, I really look forward to being in South Carolina!”
The 2017 Inked Awards announced their nominations and Anna came away with nine. She already owns four Inked Awards trophies, won over the past two years.
