LOS ANGELES—Hime Marie has been recognized for her scene work this year with a nomination from AVN Awards.
Marie has been nominated for Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene – Group for her performance in "The Dorm Room: Anal Roommates" (Dorm Room/Naughty America) alongside Best Male Newcomer nominee Dan Damage, Penelope Woods and Rory Knox.
Marie, who is also a popular cam model, has become a mainstay in productions employing immersive Virtual Reality technology, which took off during the pandemic lockdowns.
This is the third VR performance nomination from AVN for Marie. She was also a 2019 nominee for Best New Starlet in the AVN and XRCO Awards, among other honors.
Marie said, "I am so thrilled to have another VR scene nominated this year. VR can be tricky to shoot and I’m never entirely sure what I look like, but I must look hot if my VR work keeps getting nominated! I am also so grateful to have worked alongside other incredibly hot and talented performers; Penelope Woods, Rory Knox, and Dan Damage. It was a fun day, and I want to thank AVN for recognizing our hard work."
The 41st annual AVN Awards Show gala, featuring a live music performance by Iggy Azalea, is set for Saturday, Jan. 27 in Las Vegas.
