LAS VEGAS—SamHel, an indie filmmaker from Las Vegas, presents Gorerot, a low-budget splatter flick. Starring an adult industry cast including Kaiia Eve, Raven Vice, Brooke Johnson, Titi Ramone, and more, Gorerot promises to deliver a horror and dark comedy experience.
The movie explores the journey of a man who finds his true calling after being fired from a mundane editing job. The protagonist begins crafting a horror scene that caters to a growing fan base hungry for innovative horror content.
Gorerot consists of seven segments, each pushing the boundaries of horror and creativity while including a comedic tone about the wild aspects of the man's new job.
Having successfully shot half of the feature, Gorerot has faced significant challenges in securing additional funding. Due to the inclusion of adult actors, the feature has been recently banned from mainstream promotion and support sites. Despite these obstacles, the team remains committed to completing the project.
To overcome these challenges, Gorerot is now seeking support from social media and directly from adult outlets and cinema enthusiasts. The movie is actively funded via IndieGoGo, offering a range of perks, including digital downloads, physical copies, screen-used props, and more.
Gorerot is set to be self-released on physical media through samhel.com. Filming will continue in late July and August, with plans to cast additional adult models in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York.
