VALENCIA, Calif.—The AVN Awards 2021 nominations have been released, and Girlfriends Films, a top studio specializing in all-girl content, has garnered nominees in several categories including Best All-Girl Movie or Anthology, Best Female Mixed-Age Movie or Anthology, Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene, and Best All-Girl Series or Site.
Among the group of contenders for Best All-Girl Series or Site are two of Girlfriends Films’ original all-girl series: Cheer Squad Sleepovers as well as the studio’s flagship series Women Seeking Women.
Brooklyn Gray and Vanna Bardot were nominated Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene for their pairing in Secret Lesbian Diaries 9. Nominated Best All-Girl Movie or Anthology is Net Skirts 22.0 starring Gianna Dior, Sofi Ryan, Idelsy Love, Izzy Lush, Savannah Sixx, Bella Rolland, and Lena Paul, and Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 60, featuring cast members Alura Jenson, Riley Star, Brittney Amber, Mackenzie Moss, Dana DeArmond, Daphne Dare, Kylie Kingston, and Isabella Nice, received a nom for Best Female Mixed-Age Movie or Anthology.
Recognizable names from Girlfriends Films productions among the nominees for All-Girl Performer of the Year include Girlfriends Films contract star Prinzzess, and Girlfriends writer, director, and performer Serene Siren.
Siren’s original feature thriller Alien Rhapsody was honored with two performance nominations. The first was for the director herself, for Best Non-Sex Performance. And the film’s lead, Lacy Lennon, earned a nomination for Best Leading Actress.
