VALENCIA, Calif.—Girlfriends Films along with studios represented by Girlfriends Films Distribution received multiple nominations for the 2020 AVN Awards.

Listed among the girl/girl studio’s honors are Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene, Best Female Mixed-Age Production, and two Best All-Girl Series nominations for Cheer Squad Sleepovers and flagship series Women Seeking Women.
Girlfriends Films earned a total of six nominations including Best All-Girl Gonzo/Anthology Production for Bad Lesbian 10 directed by B. Skow and starring Cecilia Lion, Avi Love, Chloe Foster, Addison Lee, Autumn Falls, Pamela Morrison, Jade Nile, and Lola Fae. And nominated Best Female Mixed-Age Production is Dan O’Connell’s Lesbian Seductions 66 starring Emma Starletto, Carmen Caliente, Sarah Vandella, Scarlett Sage, Shyla Jennings, Cherie DeVille, and Girlfriends contract star Prinzzess.
Prinzzess and scene partner Alex Coal were nominated Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene for their performance in Lesbian Obsessions 3 directed by Skow. Additionally, Prinzzess and Girlfriends veteran starlet and new female director Serene Siren were among the list of All-Girl Performer of the Year nominees, joined by Girlfriends regulars Jade Baker, Jayden Cole, Carter Cruise, Darcie Dolce, Shyla Jennings, Sabina Rouge, Scarlett Sage, and Jenna Sativa among others.
In addition to their own original productions, studios distributed by Girlfriends Films Distribution garnered over 40 nominations in multiple categories and genres. Among the honorees were Angela White’s AGW Entertainment, James Deen, ArchAngel, Penthouse, Viv Thomas, Girlsway, Bang Bros, Bad Daddy POV, and Missa X named in several top categories including Best Drama, Best Editing, and Director of the Year.
