VALENCIA, Calif.—Girlfriends Films has earned a combined total of 94 nominations for their original productions and those produced by studios distributed by Girlfriends Films Distribution. The Girlfriends Films 2018 AVN Awards nominations include Best All-Girl Movie, Best All-Girl Series, and Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, and Best Marketing Campaign - Company Image, plus several accolades for studios distributed by GFF Distribution including Analized, Angela White, ArchAngel, BSkow, Desire Films, Girlsway, Homegrown, James Deen, Pink’O, Pretty Dirty, Viv Thomas, and Women by Julia Ann.
For their all-girl body of work, Girlfriends Films was honored with 13 AVN Awards nominations including Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene for a threesome featuring Jasmine Jae, Lena Paul & Ashley Adams in Women Seeking Women 140, a Best All-Girl Movie nomination for Please Make Me Lesbian Part 14, and Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene for Violet Starr & Anya Olsen in Cheer Squad Sleepovers 20.
The lesbian porn company dominated one category for which it is best known, with four continuing sagas receiving nominations for Best All-Girl Series. The list of contenders includes Cheer Squad Sleepovers, Lesbian Psychodramas, Mother-Daughter Exchange Club, and Women Seeking Women, all created by Girlfriends Films founder Dan O’Connell. The studio was also awarded two Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Movie nominations for Lesbian Seductions Older/Younger 58, and Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 46.
