LOS ANGELES—Gia Milana's life has been (how shall we say?) interesting of late (don't ask), and that's largely kept her off the interview trail for the past few months, but she recently broke her silence for a new interview with Don Juan DeMarko at XCritic titled “The Beauty of the Future.”
DeMarko introduces Gia by explaining that “she is one of the most dashing beauties on the planet Earth. She is a woman who has picked and chosen her roles and creation wisely, all with this touch of art and erotica that makes her in my eyes one of the best damn performers in the adult film world today.”
Beautiful, heartfelt words—not that he had to write them; he already had his interview, so hollow flattery wasn’t necessary. What then unfolds is a candid and insightful interview with the "Puerto Rican Princess" where she talks about her life and her experiences in the industry. And cooking. And her cocksman crush. And technology. And her heritage. And, of course, the work.
One of DeMarko’s favorite on-screen Gia moments is her performance with Prince Yahshua in Top Heavy Sluts 2 (Chris Streams/Evil Angel) and her work for James Avalon (like Dark X’s Busty Interracial 5 and Erotica X’s Art of Romance 6), the latter giving her the opportunity to do some acting.
“All of it is art. It all comes together to make one large piece and I love every part of it,” Gia said about the combination of acting/performing/design. “I do love to act in films, and it is more difficult than it looks. Sometimes trying to perfect both sides of what you just mentioned, there is such a thin line that separates the good and the bad.”
