LOS ANGELES—Jay Moyes, creator of FetishArtist.net was recently interviewed by Nicholas Tanek for Your Kinky Friends.
The interview was streamed via YouTube. Moyes broadcast live from where he shoots his video blog, allowing him to show some of his fetish artwork, including a boysterous demonstration of one of his illustrated paddles.
The artist just wrapped up showing at “The Dirty Show” in Detroit, La Luz de Jesus, and “Uncensored” by Reseda Renaissance.
Moyes gave insights on how fetish art has evolved as a genre over the years. He cited Reji Matsumoto’s animated series “Captain Harlock” as an early influence still recognizable in his work today. Towards the end, the artist noted that “@Amber.Carr.Art, @Corpsetits, @MechanicalPencilGirl”, and @The_Smut_Peddler” were top fetish artists to look for on Instagram.
Nicholas Tanek interviews prominent and up and coming people in the BDSM as a way of giving back to a community which he feels saved his life and changed his perspective. Tanek started the interview with questions about how Moyes got started in the scene Moyes immediately agreed with Tanek’s mission, stating “Fetish saved my life,” and went into how starting as a submissive meant he didn’t have to be an aggressive male socially to be accepted.
