LOS ANGELES—The Failed Films Festival is set to return to Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Media Pollution, showcasing erotic movies, drag performances, local vendors, food, drinks, and more.
Originally founded by Kink filmmakers in San Francisco, the Failed Films Festival has grown into an annual event.
The 2024 lineup includes works by notable adult filmmakers such as Casey Calvert, Rae Threat, Arson Leigh, Inka Winter, April Flores, and many more, showcasing a diverse range of voices and visual styles. With over 100 submissions from around the world, the movies range from bright and silly to romantic, sexy, dark, confusing, and dreamy, providing audiences a chance to explore unique perspectives rarely seen in mainstream cinema.
Said one of the festival organizers, "We’re here to showcase narratives that go against the grain, that embrace all facets of life and love, humor and darkness, experimentation and sensuality. And we are so excited to show you what we’re housing this year."
Audiences can enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor multimedia experiences, from experimental and avant-garde movies to inclusive and "smutty" cinema.
