Emma Rose Wins AVN's 2024 Trans Performer of the Year

NEW YORK—Emma Rose recently won the AVN Award for Trans Performer of the Year 2024.

Rose provided a statement to address her recent win:

“Wow, standing here for the second year in a row feels unreal. In 2022, I thought I was giving my all, but this past year truly tested me. It taught me a crucial lesson about balance—and the challenge of not being perfect. I want to thank my PR agent Lainie Speiser, my production team, and three incredible women—Kazumi, Angela White, and Phoenix Marie—for their advice and support. But most importantly, I have the utmost respect for the trans women who paved the way for us with their unimaginable battles,” wrote Rose. “A year ago, I spoke about how 'trans sells' but the reality today makes me question: Are we really making strides towards an equal industry, or are we merely upholding a facade? Respect is mutual and for me, it's about ensuring trans performers occupy as much space and opportunity as our cis counterparts. This is not just because of performer preferences. I've lost count of how many performers want to work with me but are held back by their agents or sites that explicitly bar trans individuals from joining. This needs to change. To the studios, agents, and those who only support us when we’re watching: Your time is up. We are here, we are talented, and we have fought to be treated as equals in this industry. Thank you.”

Rose also won Best Reality Virtual Reality Sex Scene with Dante Colle for “Measure Me,” by VRB Trans.
