NEW YORK—Photographer Ellen Stagg recently guested on Marcela Alonso's "Get Schooled" podcast, as part of her promotional media tour for her AltStar Awards nominations.
In the episode, "Capturing Empowerment: A Conversation with Photographer & Sex Worker Ellen Stagg," Alonso opened the episode by discussing Stagg's book Free to Be Naked. They talked about the proper etiquette for models that are booked for a photo shoot, especially new faces, including what to bring to set, their physical appearance, basics to bring to the shoot, and how Stagg educates them before the shoot with an email with all the details and examples of pics/poses, so they come to her shoots in the know. The ladies also discussed the comfort level of working with a female photographer, putting content on premium social media, and navigating all the rules on all the different sites. They also talked about Stagg's third book, upcoming signing at the Las Vegas Hustler Hollywood store, appearing at the AltStar events and awards show, favorite models she works with, and her upcoming MILF book.
