LOS ANGELES—Veteran production company Elegant Angel has had a particularly successful year, releasing plenty of new titles and series additions almost every week. One of those releases, Squirtwoman: Wasteland, which continues one of Elegant's most successful franchises, racked up a total of seven AVN nominations, including Best Action/Thriller and Best Director: Feature. Based on Elegant Angel's multi-awarding winning feature, Wasteland, Squirtwoman: Wasteland stars Kleio Valentien as a recently widowed woman who wanders the post-nuclear wastelands in search of humanity. Along the way, she encounters other lost souls, who are ready to either help or hinder her journey. Directed by Dreadneck, this beautifully shot feature also stars Angela White, Markus Dupree, Tommy Gunn, and James Deen.
Kleio's DP scene with Markus and Tommy—her first—was recognized with a nomination for Best DP Scene. With production values approaching those of a Hollywood movie, Squirtwoman: Wasteland was also nominated for several behind-the-camera awards, including Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography - Derek Dozer, Best Editing - Craig Daze, and Best Makeup - Sofiya.
The list of nominations doesn't stop at Squirtwoman: Wasteland, as several other Elegant Angel productions received accolades. Standouts include Best All-Girl Movie for Lesbian Performers of the Year 2018, Best MILF Movie for MILF Performers of the Year 2018, and Best Ingenue Movie for Best New Starlets 2018.
Gangbanged 9 is nominated for Best Orgy/Gangbang Movie, and Alexis Monroe: Knockout received nominations for both Best Star Showcase and Best Director - Non-Feature for Sid Knox.
