PARIS—Dorcel today announced that its most popular titles, series, and stars have secured 18 nominations at the 41st Annual AVN Awards.
Seven of the top nominations went to projects helmed by director Ricky Greenwood, with Trouble securing Best Leading Actress (Lilly Bell), Best Supporting Actress (Jane Wilde), and Best Screenplay - Movie or Limited Series (Shawn Alff). More was acknowledged with Best Anthology Movie or Limited Series nomination. "Climax 3" received a Best Foursome/Orgy Sex Scene nomination (for Bell, Kira Noir, Alexis Tae, Maya Woulfe, Alexia Anders, Isiah Maxwell, Nathan Bronson, and Alex Jones), "Maya 4 You" earned Best Tag-Team Sex Scene (Maya Woulfe, Mick Blue, and Tommy Pistol), and "Emma 4 You" secured Best Trans One-On-One Sex Scene (Emma Rose and Veronica Voxxx).
Life Coach and Missing, movies by veteran Dorcel filmmakers Anna Polina and Herve Bodilis, each earned Best International Production nominations. Bodilis' Missing received additional nominations, including Best Editing and Best International Group Sex Scene (Carollina Cherry, Chloe Duval, Tiffany Leiddi, Alice Martin, Candie Luciani, Clara Mia, Zaawaadi, Tommy Cabrio, Clemence Audiard, Jimmy Bud, James Duval, Ricky Mancini, Axel Reed, and Alex Romero). Bodilis' Whitney Wright showcase Whitney, Desires of Submission secured Best BDSM Movie or Limited Series, and "Maya & Jia," an entry in his "Pornochic" series, received Best International Anal Sex Scene (Woulfe and Alex Romero) and Best International Boy/Girl Sex Scene (Jia Lissa and Duval). Another long-running franchise, Stars, received Best Anthology Series or Channel.
Filmmaker Franck Vicomte's work secured a trio of nominations: Best Multi-Partner Movie or Limited Series for Thr3e, Best All-Girl International Sex Scene (Clara Mia and Mary Popiense) for "Duality," and Best Group International Sex Scene (Mia, Cherry Kiss, Shalina Devine, Agatha Vega, Geisha Kyd, Alexa Flexy, Candie Luciani, David Perry, Thomas Stone, Totti, Vince Karter, Kristof Cale, Raul Costa and Alex Romero) for "Revelation."
The 41st annual AVN Awards Show, to be co-hosted by Luna Star, Emily Lynne, and Kazumi with a live performance by Iggy Azalea, is set for Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, in Las Vegas.
