Dick-Able Interviewed in ePlay Q&A Series

SAN DIEGO, Calif.ePlay.com has selected Dick-Able to be featured in its monthly ePlay Community Streamer blog series that dives into the careers and lives of streamers, and how they use the platform as their exclusive streaming site.

Dick-Able is a Community Streamer for ePlay with cerebral palsy. In this blog feature, written by Dick-Able himself, he describes his journey to becoming a streamer with a disability, while overcoming many insecurities and obstacles in order to succeed in his streaming career.

“I was battling with the notion that I was sexually unacceptable, meaning that nobody wants to see me nude," he said. "With these variables in play, it was a huge step for me to go against the grain and become a streamer.”

Dick-Able openly shares his experience, and encourages others to do the same.

“When I am on a live stream, I feel truly free," he continued. "In society, I’m a man with a disability, but during my live-streams, I have a separate and private life. I have no shame in being a man with a disability, but I have realized that people pay less attention to what I am and more attention to what I am doing on camera.”

“I was incredibly fortunate enough to be able to personally meet Dick-Able during an industry event last year in Los Angeles," commented ePlay director of marketing Heather K. "This remarkably talented streamer has many gifts to offer the community, including his ability to elegantly share his story with others. We’ve got him slated to write another guest blog on ePlay next month, I can’t wait to see what else he shares with us.”
