LOS ANGELES—Award-winning adult performer Derrick Pierce was an inspiration for the lead character in a recently released romance novel, and he graces the cover of the book as well.
“I was very honored when I was approached about this project,” said Derrick. “I think my BDSM scenes are some of my best work. It’s something I enjoy and believe that sentiment comes across to my viewers. To think that this opportunity developed from my on-screen work is quite flattering.”
Author Measha Stone was moved after watching some of Derrick’s work which lead her to create the fourth book in the Windy City series, Liberated Heart. Stone realized Derrick had the look and mannerisms that fit her characters so she reached out to Pierce and got his permission to grace the novel’s cover.
