VENICE, Calif.—The most-anticipated movie of Dana Vespli’s directorial career streets this week. Hollywood Babylon (Dana Vespoli/Evil Angel) is not only her most ambitious effort; it also features the first five boy/girl scenes from Sovereign Syre.
“It was a tremendous honor to shoot Sovereign's first boy/girl scenes, as well as direct her in the lead acting role,” Vespoli said. “She is an amazing actress, so it made sense to showcase her acting ability as well as her powerhouse sexual skills in a feature rather than a wall-to-wall showcase.
“This movie is a love letter to this town, and to all the hopes, dreams, majesty and horror held within its palm tree lined celluloid, stucco walls and our collective subconscious," she added.
Chiming in with an early review, porn scribe Acme Andersson calls the movie her most adventurous to date, writing, “There may not be a single person today who is pushing the boundaries of porn production as effectively as Dana. This is just not just another example of what porn can be, it’s the best movie Dana has ever done—and that’s saying a lot.”
One of her many recent releases, Femdom Ass Massacre (Dana Vespoli/Evil Angel) has debuted at #1 on the AVN Top 50 Specialty Rentals chart.
Dana is also about to shoot her first scene for the second volume of Fluid and casting for the latest Strap-on Specialists (Sweetheart) will begin shortly.
