LOS ANGELES—Dakota Skye, who’s been quite open about having to take time away from the industry in order to get sober and her mental health back on track, announced she is back and better than ever, and has a nomination in the fan-voted AVN Awards to prove it.
Things are going so well she is eager to help others who may be having their own struggles, encouraging her fans—#Skyelites, she calls them, “because they light up my Skye”—and anyone else to contact her if they need to reach out to someone.
“I know how difficult it can be if you’re struggling and it’s always better when you have someone you can reach out to,” Dakota said. “I have never felt better than since I regained my sobriety and mental health and am honored when someone reaches out to me for help. Despite only shooting a handful of movies in 2018, Dakota secured herself a nomination for Favorite Female Performer at the 2019 AVN Awards and with her insane popularity the girl has a real shot.
