TAMPA, Fla.—The Clips4Sale Legal Zone is an online presentation that covers hot legal issues affecting the adult industry. The next upcoming Legal Zone is this Monday, October 14, at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PST. Clips4Sale owner Neil and attorney Corey D. Silverstein will be joined by guest attorney Larry Walters.
The webinar will cover California’s Assembly Bill 5, which will reclassify the status of many independent contractors to employees, and takes effect in January 2020. This could change the game for many adult producers in California or anyone who works with California-based companies. Along with the Clips4Sale owner, Silverstein and Walters will help make sense of the bill in the webinar. (Get familiar with AB5 by reading this Los Angeles Times piece.) Another important topic that will be covered is intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrighting.
“Intellectual property is a content producer’s most valuable asset. Learning to properly protect and enforce IP rights is critical to the success of any producer. I look forward to shedding some light on these important issues,” Walters says.
All are invited to attend, whether they are Clips4sale studio owners or not. Get all the details here. If you can’t make the live presentation, the full video will be available later here.
