LOS ANGELES—Chaturbate has signed on as a Rescue Angel supporter for The Animal Rescue Alliance's 8th annual Vice Is Nice fundraising party, taking place July 29 in Chatsworth, Calif.
“Animal Rescue is near and dear to all of us in the company,” Chief Operations Officer for Chaturbate Shirley Lara said. “Our staff and executives personally donate to local rescue and adoption organizations and since Chaturbate.com launched in 2011, we have supported our Broadcasters in raising funds for animal welfare-related causes through our video cam platform. We are happy to lend our support to Kelly and The Animal Rescue Alliance in providing vital services to forgotten and neglected animals.”
Organized by Kelly Holland, an avid animal lover and Penthouse Entertainment’s managing director, The Animal Rescue Alliance and Farm Sanctuary's annual casino-themed party brings the adult industry together to make a difference in the lives of many animals.
Vice Is Nice 2017 features a poker tournament and casino games, music, dancing, hourly prize raffles and more. Money raised at the event is used to provide funding for The Animal Rescue Alliance programs that provide rescue, adoption and sanctuary for abandoned and abused companion and farm animals on the organization's 4-acre property in Chatsworth, Rancho Providencia. Additionally, TARA provides financial support to under-funded local rescue organizations.
“Our animals come from a variety of backgrounds; from homeless strays and ferals to rescues from kill shelters and hoarding situations,” Holland said. “Wherever we see an animal in need, we help. We also share the proceeds with our rescue partners who have the same ever-expanding list of needs as we do. Last year over 750 animal-lovers attended this event and helped us raise these much needed funds.”
