Chaturbate & Broadcasters Nommed for 2022 AltPorn Awards

LOS ANGELES—Live, interactive streaming platform Chaturbate is celebrating the numerous nominations its broadcasters and the platform itself received for the 2022 AltStar Awards.

AltPorn.net’s AltStar Awards—aka the AltPorn Awards—will return in person on June 11, 2022, at Boardner's in Hollywood, California.

Presented by Bad Dragon, the AltStar Awards’ mission is to support independent and alternative creativity, including gothic, fetish, burlesque, tattoo and everything else that makes up the genres known as alt porn, indie content and subculture erotica.

“Chaturbate has always been a great place for people to create all types of content, so it’s especially exciting when the company and its broadcasters are recognized for their diversity and creativity,” said Shirley Lara, COO of Chaturbate. “We have some talented broadcasters who call Chaturbate home, and it’s an honor when others recognize that.”

Chaturbate and its broadcasters combined received 73 nominations in 18 categories.
