MIAMI—Casca Akashova chats with professional boxer and six-time Tennessee Golden Gloves champion Tyler “Short Fuse” Tomlin ahead of his first televised fight in her recent guest co-hosting stint on "The Last Call Podcast" with Chris Connor.
The "Last Call" show has been on the air in some fashion for over 13 years, interviewing boxers, MMA fighters, sports reporters, and providing coverage of MMA and boxing events.
In the recent episode, Akashova interviews Tomlin about boxing, which Boxing Hall of Famers he wants to meet, building his brand, the work leading up to this fight, and which celebrities he and his team are targeting to work with down the road.

The SHOBOX: The New Generation telecast opener, which airs June 10 on Showtime Network, during Boxing Hall of Fame weekend, will feature Tomlin (13-0, 9 KOs) squaring off against Chann Thonson (10-0, 7 KOs) in an eight-round lightweight bout.
