LOS ANGELES—Candee Licious stars in “Shadows Of The Heart,” a new scene from MixedX’s GetVampired.
Licious plays a tender-hearted vampire in the scene. Having wandered the earth for centuries in search of connection, she crosses paths with Ann Joy and sparks an intense romance. Her true nature as a creature of the night, however, remains a secret to protect Joy, who chooses to ignore the enigmas surrounding her, believing in the power of their love to overcome all obstacles.
“Despite being an otherworldly vampire tale, ‘Shadows of the Heart’ mirrors the complexities of real-world relationships and the choices we make for love,” said director Christina Shine. “We ignore those doubts and misgivings when the happiness at stake is so great, and this story is a reflection on the lengths we go to preserve the love that makes life worth living."
