LOS ANGELES—Sofi Ryan has turned in some hot virtual reality scenes, and now she’s getting recognition.
The nominees for the 2019 AVN Awards were announced last week in Los Angeles and Sofi scored a nomination for Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene for "Booty Basics" (NaughtyAmericaVR.com) with Preston Parker.
It’s a challenging format—more difficult to shoot for the performers and as revealing as it can get from their perspective, too—but Sofi is as fearless as she is beautiful and this scene was one of her most powerful to date.
“I think virtual reality is really fascinating and I love being a part of the new technology,” Sofi said. “I feel like I’m kind of on the ground floor of something that is the future and I’m really honored that AVN thought that scene deserved a nomination.”

Sofi also has a new scene in Lesbian Adventures: Strap-On Specialists Vol. 13 (Sweetheart Video) with Dana DeArmond that has the Dana treating the Sofi to an unforgeable strap-on session. Dana Vespoli directed the scene.
