Urban X Awards Induct James Bartholet into Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES—Multiple award-winning actor James Bartholet has been inducted into the 2019 Urban X Awards Hall of Fame.

He received the honor doing the ceremony Aug. 18 at The Globe Theater in Los Angeles, where he also took the stage to accept the Feature Movie of the Year Award for After Dark, which he was featured in and was directed by Director of the Year winner Kayden Kross.

“I was practically speechless when I got onstage, which is rare for me to be speechless,” he said. “This meant so much to me; it’s an acknowledgement for all these many years of working in the industry. I want to thank everybody at the Urban X Awards for this induction into the Hall of Fame, and thank you to everybody that I have been working with during all these years. I hope you’ll come see us at Exxxotica Miami in September, we always love meeting our fans, and you’ll have fun there.”

Bartholet will be at the upcoming Exxxotica Miami, Sept. 6-8, signing at the Galaxy/Inside The Industry Booth all weekend long.

Bartholet will also be hosting the informative and fun “How to get into the Biz” seminars all weekend long at Exxxotica Portland

Bartholet just wrapped on several new projects that will be coming out later this year.

He also announced the expansion of the popular Inside the Industry with James Bartholet radio broadcast and he is now also heard on Vivid Radio Sirius XM Channel 415 on Thursday afternoons, 2-3 p.m. PT. The Wednesday night broadcasts on LATalkRadio and Facebook will continue 7-9 p.m. PT.

Bartholet is in the new mainstream horror movie Murder Motel for Platinum Assassins Pictures that is coming out this year. Bartholet was one of the leads and associate producers. The film also costars Priya Rai and Misty Stone.
