'Babysitting the Baumgartners' Earns XRCO Noms for Best Director-Feature, Best Release

LOS ANGELES Adam & Eve’s Babysitting the Baumgartners, which attained AVN's highest rating of five stars, has also been recognized by the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO), which has nominated director Kay Brandt for Best Director-Feature and for the film for Best Release at the 2017 XRCO Awards. The awards will be presented on Thursday, April 27, at OHM nightclub, at the Hollywood/Highland Complex, 6801 Hollywood Blvd #433, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

Babysitting the Baumgartners started out as a novel by New York Times bestselling author Selena Kitt from her Baumgartner series of erotic novels, Babysitting the Baumgartners features adult stars together with real-life married couple Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue as Doc and Carrie Baumgartner who find lust-filled adventures with their sexy babysitter, played by Sara Luvv, who also earned a Best Actress nomination for the role.

The nominations come as Adam & Eve prepares to release the second movie in the Baumgartner series, Adventures with the Baumgartners, directed by Brandt and also starring Albrite and Blue, reprising their roles. It is set for a May release, and will include a simultaneous publication of the book of the same name. It marks the first time an adult film and accompanying book are released at the same time.

The bestselling Baumgartner series by Kitt originally launched in 2008. It includes Meet the Baumgartners, A Baumgartner Christmas, The Baumgartners Plus One, A Baumgartner Reunion, and others about the erotic adventures of the sexy suburban couple.

The nominations are the newest honors for the film which earned Best Polyamory Feature at the 2017 AVN Awards. The movie also earned First Choice honors at the 2016 NightMoves Awards.
