LOS ANGELES—Anikka Albrite and Mick Blue, one of porn's premier couples, are featured in the February AVN cover story “Porn Couples Sound Off on Lasting Love." They are the only husband and wife to win AVN’s Performer of the Year trophies in the same year (2015).
“There are many benefits to being in a relationship with another adult performer,” Anikka told AVN. “The biggest benefit is we both do the same thing, and so it is easy to communicate and understand each other. I also enjoy working with him! He's my favorite co-worker!
“My best advice for other couples is to always communicate with each other and make sure your partner feels special to you,” she continued. “The best advice someone once gave me was to treat each other the way we treated each other when we first started dating. It is sound advice and is so very true!”
Anikka and Mick have done many memorable scenes and movies and one fan favorite was the award-winning Babysitting the Baumgartners, which starred the couple and was Adam & Eve’s signature release in 2016. Things went so well that there is a sequel in the making, set for release in May.
The follow-up, Adventures with the Baumgartners, received some eager coverage from the British press recently when UK site Hush-Hush got in on things when given access to some photos from the set and early word from director Kay Brandt.
“We’re very excited about another Baumgartners movie,” Anikka said. “Anytime Mick and I get to work together it’s wonderful, but these are exceptional movies, so it’s even more special.”
