LOS ANGELES—British author Oliver Carter who has written about the porn industry in the United Kingdom, will guest on "Adult Site Broker Talk," streaming now on AdultSiteBrokerTalk.com.
Carter, who is a Reader in Creative Economies at Birmingham City University's Birmingham Centre for Media and Cultural Research, is interested in how technology might provide opportunities for business and media regulation. His investigation into the British pornography industry prompted the award-winning documentary series Sexposed, as well as the second episode of the BBC series Bent Coppers: Crossing the Line of Duty, which premiered in 2021.
Under the Counter: Britain's Trade in Hardcore Pornographic 8mm Films, his most recent book, was published in 2023, and he is now working on a second volume.
