BDSM Gear Is the Topic on Today's '#SexTalkTuesday'

LOS ANGELES—Hyacinth, creator of the Leatherbeaten brand which makes leather BDSM goods, will serve as special guest moderator today for "#SexTalkTuesday," the Twitter-based chat show, to discuss BDSM toys and leather gear.

Founded by Hyacinth 25 years ago, Leatherbeaten has created BDSM leather gear for upscale fetish shops in North America, Europe and Australia. Now retired from retail, Hyacinth enjoys teaching the craft of leatherworking to students, and to this end recently started Leatherbeaten University (LBU).

“It’s good to have a whip or flogger that makes everyone drool,” Hyacinth said, “But it’s even better to say, I made that.”

To tune into the show, visit sextalktuesday.com or use the hashtag #sextalktuesday on Twitter.

“We frequently discuss toys on #SexTalkTuesday, but it’s a rare pleasure to hear from someone like Hyacinth of Leatherbeaten, who is an expert artisan, as well as deeply familiar with the unique retail market," said Angie Rowntree, owner of Sssh.com and producer of #SexTalkTuesday. “Whether you are into kink or not, this segment should hopefully lend some perspective to your next toy purchase.”
