According to a company rep, the spirit of cultural critic H.L. Mencken looms over the proceedings:
"Mencken once said that democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard," the rep said. "Well, sometimes politicians need to get it the same way. AOC took time off from her busy schedule of visiting detention centers at the border. We asked her to explain the 'Green New Deal' and heard about three seconds worth before she noticed our blank faces and got down on her knees.
