'Anne, A Taboo Parody' Concludes with Act Three: ‘The Scam’

MONTREAL, QC—Pure Taboo’s elaborate series Anne, A Taboo Parody, based loosely on the legendary story of Little Orphan Annie, reaches its epic climax in ‘Act Three: The Scam,’ which can be seen now at PureTaboo.com.

Eliza Jane is the titular little orphan Anne who finds solace in the home of the rich and powerful ‘Daddy’ Westfield, who is offering a substantial reward to find her birth parents… but Mr. Hands, who runs the Transition House for Wayward Girls, has other nefarious plans in store for the beautiful young waif.

“That reward money belongs to me,” Mr. Hands tells his sister and brother-in-law, laying down a scheme for them to play Anne’s parents. “If they are going to steal one of my girls, I'm at least going to be the one who benefits from it. And I'm willing to cut you both in 50/50.”

Bree Mills wrote the parody’s script and co-directed the series with Craven Moorehead, “a story about hope and promise in a world of deceit and betrayal. After 18 painful years, Anne still believes in a happy ending.”

"Anne - Act Three: The Scam" is available online here and also stars Casey Calvert, Steve Holmes, Sarah Vandella, Elena Koshka, Kristen Scott and Tommy Pistol.
