Anna Bell Peaks Explains Decision to Stop Performing to AVN

LOS ANGELES—Anna Bell Peaks is planning a graceful exit from performing in the adult industry.

In an interview with AVN Editor-in-Chief Sharan Street, Anna said she will leave at the end of the year with no regrets.

“I started in one career and then I really fell into porn,” she told AVN in an article titled “Anna Bell Peaks: Taking Care of Business” that went up on AVN.com on Monday. “I’ve just loved every moment of it, and that’s something I thought was really important to say. There are so many stereotypes, and a lot of them are negative, about people in the adult industry and the adult industry in general—it’s this place where they get taken advantage of, these poor innocent girls. And I haven’t had a single bad experience the whole time I’ve been in. I’ve done four years of the industry and loved it all. I’ve loved every second of it. I’m not leaving because I don’t like it anymore. I’m leaving because I’m ready to move on to a different chapter.”

Anna Bell started in the industry at the age of 33 and developed into one of the biggest stars in Porn Valley. She has amassed more than 1 million Instagram followers, does Facebook Live shows for Inked Magazine that regularly notch more than 100,000 viewers, has more than 300,000 followers on Twitter and a shelf full of awards for her hard work, which includes more than 150 credits.

Prior to her years in the adult industry Anna worked as a certified public accountant and in the past she has suggested she might one day become an accountant to the (porn) stars. Unlike most, she has done much of her work in the adult industry herself. She ran her own website, shot several DVDs herself and secured distribution on her own and has been one of the busiest and most interactive stars with fans across social media, at trade shows and during her intensive feature dancing schedule (which includes Al’s Diamond Cabaret this Friday and Saturday night).

While she will stop shooting in December, she will continue feature dancing for most of 2019, continue webcamming, Onlyfans, her website AnnaBellPeaks.xxx and, of course, her social media. She may write a book about her experiences in the adult industry, saying it would have to be “some sort of motivation, some sort of teaching. Here’s how you can be an empowered woman.”

“By the end of the 2019 I will be a CEO or a CFO or a CPA somewhere back in the business world. I’ll wear a three-piece suit, I’ll cover my tattoos, I’ll probably dye my hair so it’s not bright fuchsia,” she told AVN. “I miss using my brain. A lot. Like a lot. And I’m excited about diving into something that’s going to be more brain power, though, you know me, I’ll still love shaking my boobs, you’ll just only see them on my Snapchat, Website, and Onlyfans.”

Earlier this month Anna hosted the 2018 Inked Awards and won Perfect Pussy (her third time winning the category) and Best Girl/Girl Scene for “Bloodthirsty Biker Babes” (Brazzers). She has won 12 Inked Awards trophies over her career.
