VENICE, Calif.—A performer of Anikka Albrite's stature is in a position to be able to pick her projects, and some great ones have come to AVN's 2015 Female Performer of the Year in the past few years. Next week comes one that stands a good chance of being one of the most memorable of her career.
On September 13, Wicked Pictures will release Jessica Drake Is Wicked, a five-scene, star-packed showcase for Drake, an epic DVD that matches the Wicked contract star up with 18 performers. Drake first signed with Wicked exclusively in 2003, making it one of the most fruitful performer-production company relationships in the history of the adult industry. Drake has taken advantage of the opportunity, working in production for Wicked for many years, directing, writing scripts and more.
Jessica Drake Is Wicked has possibly the most impressive cast list of any movie Wicked has ever released. It also marks the first time the company has released a sex scene with transgender performers, with Drake joined by Venus Lux, Domino Presley and reigning AVN Transsexual Performer of the Year Aubrey Kate. Albrite shines in an ornate “Cirque du Sex” vignette that also features Abella Danger, Angela White, Vicki Chase and Brandy Aniston.

“I consider it to be one of the most introspective movies I've ever made,” Jessica said. “I challenge the viewer to dismantle their perceptions about what porn is and who the performers are. It's definitely a statement piece, and I'm forever grateful to Wicked Pictures for demolishing stereotypes and for supporting films which create a dialogue about human sexuality.”
