LOS ANGELES — Angelina Castro is appearing live on mainstream Spanish television talk show Teresa on megaTV this Saturday, March 23 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to discuss the controversial R. Kelly situation, including his arrest after the recent Surviving R. Kelly documentary.
She notes, "I am always happy to be asked to be a guest on maintream television. Teresa is a very popular show on megaTV, and it's not only great exposure but also a great chance to discuss a topic that really bothers me. The exploitation of women is something that happens in our industry. Getting a chance to discuss these issues in a thoughtful way is important."
Castro is also celebrating a new fit and trim image for 2019. She says, "I was sometimes put on Spanish television because of my over the top appearance. It's nice to be accepted on mainstream even though my image is changing."
A regular figure on mainstream shows, the first adult star to ever make a morning appearance on Telemundo, and co-host of talk show SOS (Sex or Sexy) on Miratv.tv, she made worldwide headlines in 2012 as part of the #TeamBJ twitter sensation with Sara Jay (pledging to give followers oral sex if the Miami Heat won the NBA title). Appearances included the Russell Brand show and a mention on CNN. Castro almost exclusively shoots for her official site, which is part of Vicky Vette's VNA Girls Network along with stars such as Julia Ann, Penny Pax, Nikki Benz, Puma Swede, and Sara Jay.
