LOS ANGELES—The "And Now We Drink" podcast has been nominated for Favorite Adult Podcast for the AVN Fan Awards, as part of the 2024 AVN Expo.
It’s the second AVN nomination for "And Now We Drink," the podcast that is described as feeling like ”the conversation at the end of the bar" featuring favorite adult stars, writers, comedians, musicians, and actors.
Native Chicagoan Slayer, a former private investigator and roadie, was also nominated by AVN in 2018, in the category of Best Non-Sex Performance, for his comic role in a Joanna Angel movie.
“I’m thrilled and a little surprised AVN is still willing to honor me with nominations,” Slayer joked. “Must mean I’m not doing something completely wrong. To be fair the guests are the ones doing the heavy lifting; I’m mostly getting drunk. The real heroes are my drinking buddies who tirelessly voted to pre-nominate me when they could’ve been at a bar. Who else can say that they’re nominated for a third AVN Award without ever getting naked on film?”
The public is invited to vote for their favorite adult podcasts, performers, cam models, and creators in their respective fan-voting categories until the deadline at noon PT on Saturday, Jan. 27—the same day as the 41st annual AVN Awards Show.
Fans can cast their vote for the podcast by clicking on the photo on the show’s logo here and may vote every day and for up to five categories through Jan. 27.
