LOS ANGELES—Fans won’t want to miss this week’s episode of Amber Lynn Rock'N'SeXXXy Uncensored as she kicks off the show welcoming back one of the finest post punk acts to ever come out of Orange, Calif.: Former Humans.
Former Humans is a dark-edge, post-alternative band that features members of Hyena Motorcade, ExVoTo, Blood Penny and The Widowed. They are known for their bomb single “Heaven's Gate,” Former Human's guitarist Mark Allen will be joining RNSU host Amber Lynn live in the studio dishing details of their up-coming live show this Saturday night March March 10 at the Redwood Bar in DTLA, and plans in the works for a new EP.
Then, joining the show is Psychedelic Furs former guitarist John Ashton, who will speak on his new all-star project Satellite Paradiso, featuring past and present members of David Bowie, Killing Joke, Dead Boys and more. Ashton first came to prominence in the early 1980s as the original guitarist and founding member of the Psychedelic Furs, who went on hiatus in the 1990s, at which time Ashton became a record producer working with other acts such as Maryanne Faithful, and The Sisters of Mercy, then moving on with his solo act Satellite Paradiso, RNSU listeners will also get to hear a taste of their music on air during the show.
