LOS ANGELES—Veteran adult performer Amber Chase has released a "consent document" created to prevent misunderstandings on the set.
"After having some negative experiences on my own production sets, or rather I mean during content trade with my peers, I have created a form for all sets I am in charge of which details specifically what the performers are consenting to participate in during that specific shoot," Chase said in announcing the release.

"I have witnessed multiple accounts over the years in the industry media and on Twitter where performers feel they had been violated on set," Chase continued. "However a little bit of transparent communication prior to the scene would alleviate the likelihood of that sort of situation. I am not here to say whether one party was violated or not, but I know that it does not make the industry look safe or professional for these type of incidents to occur.
"It’s not sexy to write and acknowledge the exact specifics (example 1 performer X is here for giving oral sex, finger penetration, kissing but no tongue, and full body caressing; example 2 performer Y is here for bondage with ropes but nothing else and Anal fisting receiving but no oral giving and no oral receiving) but neither is filling out a 2257 and model release. It is part of the job to be clear about what we are trying to accomplish on set.
"If there is another media report or Twitter breakdown because people did not get their scene specific boundaries clarified then it means they did not use a form like this. These types of forms seem pretty common sense whether it is a BDSM scene or completely vanilla. It is simple—don’t shove your thumb up my ass and I won’t shove mine up yours. Unless that is what we are here to do today and in that case let’s get naughty!"
