LAS VEGAS—In addition to celebrating a decade in the adult industry, Amber Chase is over the moon with her AVN Awards nomination.
“I filmed my first amateur porn at the end of 2007, and was on my first professional production in 2008, so it is exciting that I am approaching a decade of being a pornstar,” Chase said. “This industry has done so much for me—being in adult film has helped me through college (two undergrad degrees and one advanced graduate degree), helped me recover from a lung disease (histiocytosis x), made me feel beautiful, let me be present in those after-school hours to raise my son into adulthood, allowed me to meet and fall in love with my husband, gave me a safe outlet for my sexual exploration including many many first time experiences with beautiful people, as well as provide a creative outlet for me to grow as a performer and producer and become a respected peer in this industry.
“Looking at the last 10 years I have no doubt that my life in this business will continue to be intertwined for many years to come,” Chase continued. “But even with a decade of filming under my belt, no one realizes just what a MILF I am. I know this not only by of flattery I receive on set, but also based on ‘civilian’ responses when folks learn my real age. I look like I am in my 20s and astute fans have been doing the math for years imagining I was 18-19 when I first entered the industry, however the truth is I was 32 when I filmed my first naughty videos for publication. I was born in 1975 which means I’m 42 now. I am nominated this AVN in the Hottest MILF category and surely I am among some pretty heavy hitters and couldn’t feel more honored, I wish everyone luck and a great experience, but I know a lot of my fans are unaware of how well I really qualify for the MILF category. And that in itself is a win.”
