LOS ANGELES, Calif.—Adult star Alison Rey announced she is returning to her roots with a renewed focus on performing and content creation, coupled with a move into feature dancing.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Rey seized the opportunity to expand her adult production skills working behind the cameras for companies such as Girlsway, Pure Taboo, Model Time and Anatomik, and graduated to directing with her docuseries Between the Sheets With Alison Rey, which debuted on Adult Time last summer. However, despite the satisfaction and creative release Rey found in off-camera work, the focus shift came with a cost.
“I’ve had some time to get really clear on the trajectory of my career in adult entertainment,” Rey explained. "Over the past year, I was focusing my efforts behind the camera, rather than paying sufficient attention to the performance aspect of my work, on set and on OnlyFans, which is something I had never really intended to do. I think that this is a situation a lot of people can relate to: I found myself a little stuck in a ‘day job’ and missing the one thing that fills me with joy—performing.
“I know that my fans have noticed my distraction,” Rey added. “Asking me where I’ve been, when new scenes are dropping, or if I’m attending any expos or conventions. In light of this high interest, and in re-evaluating my position in the adult industry, I’m excited to announce that I’m starting to feature dance in April and returning my attention to my OnlyFans, as well.”
Rey has signed with The Lee Network and will ascend the dance stage for the very first time at Gold Club Centerfolds in the Sacramento Metropolitan Area, this Wednesday through Saturday, April 20 to 23.
“Feature dancing is something that I’ve always admired, but never felt like I would be able to do, since I’ve never danced in a club before," said Rey. "Shout out to Kate Kennedy for telling me that I was wrong and encouraging me to try it anyway!"
Originally hailing from Sacramento herself, Rey mused, “I have to say, I am a little nervous to debut in my hometown. I have no idea who might show up to see me dance, so I’m going prepared to run into old friends, high school mean girls, maybe even teachers. (Though I have to admit, I do think seeing a certain teacher would be kind of hot!)
“When people found out I started doing porn, there were a lot of mixed reactions," she continued. "Some people were shocked and offended, while others thought it was cool, and I imagine there are similar conversations happening now surrounding my visit. Regardless of the nervous jitters I have about dancing naked on stage for my first time ever, there is a quiet comfort doing it somewhere familiar, rather than flying out to a huge, unknown city. I’ve been looking forward to this for several months now, and I can’t believe it’s finally here!”

• Thurs: 10:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m.
• Fri: Noon, 10:00 p.m., 12:00 a.m., 2:00 a.m.
• Sat: 10:00 p.m., 12:00 a.m., 2:00 a.m.
On Friday and Saturday, she will also appear at the Gold Club Centerfolds Video Boutique Couples Superstore for free autograph signings. From 6 p.m.-8 p.m. both days, fans can stop by the store, meet Rey and shop her catalog of hardcore movies. The Video Boutique has a separate entrance and there is no admission fee for these special in-store signings.
