LOS ANGELES—With this year's Miss America broadcast due to air on Sept. 10, mainstream TV viewers know that it’s both the end of Summer and of beauty pageants for 2017.
AIPdaily has decided to celebrate these events by offering an exclusive clip from the Vivid Entertainment movie Faithless starring former Miss USA Kelli McCarty starting Sept. 11.
Vivid introduced Faithless in 2009, headlined by Kelli, who was the first-ever “reverse crossover” actress to leave mainstream acting to star in an adult film. She approached Vivid because she wanted to show her erotic side, and thought that making a movie with the well-respected company would be the best way to do it. Soap opera fans were well-familiar with McCarty as the villainess Beth Wallace on the NBC daytime drama Passions for six years.
“There wasn’t anything we could have taught Kelli,” said Vivid head Steven Hirsch, adding, “She is naturally sexy and knows how to heat up the screen, so that the viewer gets turned on from the minute she appears in a scene.”
Faithless director Paul Thomas stated, “Kelli’s acting experience definitely gave her an erotic edge in this movie. Her love of sex made a believer out of me.”
