AEBN Analyzes the Cuckold Trend in Adult Productions

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—The Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network (AEBN) has published an analysis of the appearance of cuckoldry in adult content, beginning with its roots and with predictions as to its future.

Cuckold porn may be largely a product of the 21st century, but the concept of seeing one partner find pleasure with an "outsider" has been known as "cuckolding" since pre-Shakespearean times.

Features of this type didn’t always have a one-word label; often they were described as “wife-sharing” or “screw my wife” movies. (In fact, Screw My Wife was a long-running series from Wildlife Productions.) While historically, it has mainly been considered as a straight fetish, there is a devoted audience of the bisexual variant of this content. Cuckoldry is less popular in the gay market, but does appear on that side in the bisexual crossover category.

AEBN Trends explores some notable statistics of the cuckold category, including the first appearance of the word in a movie title on its systems, and other variants of this often-controversial fetish.
