MONTREAL—Adult Time received 86 AVN Award nominations for 2023 in recognition of creative and diverse filmmaking across the brand’s affiliated streaming channels, releases, and series.
Adult Time brought in 36 nominations:
Ricky Greenwood’s retro skateboard drama Grinders received 14 nominations including Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for Greenwood, Best Leading Actor for Lucky Fate, Best Supporting Actress for Charlotte Sins, Best Supporting Actor for Tommy Pistol and Robby Echo, Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series (Shawn Alff), Best Three-Way Sex Scene – F/F/M (Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, and Nathan Bronson), Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Hair and Makeup, Best Soundtrack and Best Non-Sex Performance (Liv Revamped).
Six nominations for Stars, based on the true story of Jane Wilde’s entry into professional sex work—Grand Reel, Best Leading Actress for Wilde, Outstanding Directing – Individual Work for Wilde and Bree Mills, Best Screenplay – Movie or Limited Series, Best Cinematography for Michael Vegas and Best Editing for Angelo Poirier.
"The Bargain" received five nominations – Best Featurette, Best Actor-Featurette (Pistol), Best Hair and Makeup, Best Screenplay-Featurette (Maddy Barton), and Most Outrageous Sex Scene (Ashley Lane and Pistol).
Mommy’s Boy, Forbidden Seductions and Oopsie! received two nominations each, while Women’s World, Hentai Sex School, Teen Sneaks, Caught Fapping, and Couple Swapping brought in one each.
Pure Taboo also received 12 nominations—for its titles "Unfinished Business" with three nods, "Living Well," "Black Sheep," and "Husband, Unleashed" with two, and one each for "Dream Girl" and "The Nanny Incident"—with a Best/Male/Female Sex Scene and Best Actor-Featurette nomination each, respectively, for Gamma Films Group exclusive contract star Seth Gamble.
Devil’s Film brought in 12 nominations—of note, Best Anthology Movie or Limited Series (My Girlfriend’s Sis Is an Exhibitionist), Best Niche Movie or Limited Series (Horny Old Men 6), Best Trans Movie or Limited Series (Take a Ride on the Trans Train! 3 & Trans DPs? Yes, Please!) and Best Trans Series or Channel (Trans Girlfriend Experience).
Transfixed earned 10 nominations including Best Trans Series or Channel; its showcase series Muses received three nominations, in particular, Best Trans One-on-One Sex Scene for "Muses: Khloe Kay" with Wilde. In the category of Best Thespian – Trans/X, Ariel Demure ("Under Her Wing"), Lola Fae ("Bridal Reservations"), and Jade Venus ("Neighborly Greetings") earned a nod each as well.
Girlsway picked up eight nominations—three of which are in the category of Best All-Female Group Sex Scene: "From Bad to Worse," "Lady Boss: Performances Reviews," and "Shared Hall Pass." Web Young was nominated for Best All-Female Series or Channel, while Mommy’s Girl was selected for Best MILF/Female Mixed-Age Series or Channel.
Modern-Day Sins earned two nods, as did Burning Angel for Joanna Angel's Dungeon Furniture Emporium, and 21 Sextury for Lez Cuties, while Fantasy Massage’s All Girl Massage received one.
