Adult Time Nabs 88 Nominations for 2020 AVN Awards

MONTREAL—Adult Time and its top studios Girlsway, Pure Taboo, Adult Time, Devil’s Film, Fantasy Massage, Vivid and Burning Angel have earned a collective 88 AVN award nominations this year.

Adult Time was honored with 33 nominations, notably for its original erotic productions Teenage Lesbian (nine nods), Perspective (eight nods), Girlcore (five nods) and brand-new trans specialty series Transfixed (five nods).

Pure Taboo’s cinematic take on the darker side of sexual desire picked up 23 nominations. Multiple nominees include Future Darkly (five nods), Female Submission (four nods), Bishop's Interview: An Alina Lopez Story (four nods) and The Gold Star: A Whitney Wright Story (3 nods).

Joanna Angel and Burning Angel Entertainment, now under the Adult Time platform, collected 17 nominations, including five for Three Cheers for Satan and four for Insomniac. Angel received a nod for both Performer of the Year and Director of the Year, making her the first woman in porn history to ever receive both nominations in the same year.

Lesbian studio Girlsway earned five, including Best Director - Web Channel/Site for Casey Calvert & Eli Cross, two for Mommy’s Girl (Best MILF/Female Mixed-Age Series or Channel and Best Female Mixed-Age Production for My Amazon Step-Mom) and two for Web Young (Best All-Girl Series or Channel and Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene for Bad Behavior (Naughty in Bed).

 Devil’s Film also picked up five nominations in five different categories, and Jane Doe picked up two as well for its title Lesbian Encounters.

Adult Time’s Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills also received three: Director of the Year, Best Dramatic Screenplay and Best Director - Dramatic Production, both for Perspective. Other nominations include Shape of Beauty for Best Niche Series or Channel, Fantasy Massage’s Truth or Dare Massage for Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene and Vivid’s A Cruel Bet: A Cruel Intentions Parody for Best Featurette.
